How does a Zoho account end up on the Canadian data centre?
By the country chosen at sign-up: "Based on the country chosen there, the corresponding datacenter is chosen for your account." The field is filled in from your IP address, so check it before signing up. Zoho keeps each account in one data centre: "We only allow users to create their accounts and store their data in one datacenter."

Can an existing Zoho account move to Canada?
Zoho says an account can migrate from its current data centre to another "along with their service data"; its WorkDrive guide says to write to migrations@zohoaccounts.com. An account created on the US data centre stays there until it is moved.
